Do You Set Your Intention To Practice Love??

Monday, February 21st, 2011

A great way for you to do this is in relationships that are meaningful to you. Perhaps you are disappointed in a friend’s behavior. She or he is acting in a way that is a personal disappointment for you.
Set your intention on seeing behind his or her behavior and personality at this time. Realize behind the surface of this behavior
lies negativity and insecurity and thoughts that are not positive. When people act this way it only means that they are out of touch and are not connected to the feelings of others. They are not spiritually nourished or they would not act this way.
You would not get angry with a person who is severely disabled. So,you need not get angry at someone who is temporarily disabled spiritually. The best thing that you can do is to continue to grow and be the best you can be and look beyond the behavior that you do not care for. Just hold a special place in your heart for your friend and hope that he or she will feel more connected to others as well.

Growth

Please consider a radical idea! There is no such thing as failure.Rather than accepting the judgment of failure, why not have an attitude adjustment that states”You cannot fail but only produce results”. Then the question you need to ask yourself is what do you do with the results that you have produced?
Know in your heart that you never failed at anything. Failure is a judgment that needs to be called by another name. That new name is called”Growth”. I always laugh when I hear Thomas Edison’s response to others when they said that he failed in his efforts to produce a new battery. His response was” I just learned twenty- five thousand ways not to make a battery.
With persistence he prevailed and so can you.

Don’t Curb Your Enthusiasm

Saturday, February 5th, 2011

It’s a New Year! Are you bursting with enthusiasm or are

you feeling ennui? How about giving yourself a dose of

enthusiasm? When you are enthusiastic nothing seems

difficult. When you go to that place within you that holds

excitement and passion, there is no force that can interfere

with the completion of your desired project. Family

dramas are meaningless and the rules set down by others

hold no weight.

That is because you are answering your calling- and the

you who is doing the answering is the highest and best

part of you. Your enthusiasm will help you to continue

to be inspired. The more you hold onto your enthusiasm

the more it becomes a habit that is accompanied by joy

and happiness.
