Do Not Isolate Yourself During The Holidays

This might be a time of great emotional pain as the holidays oftentimes act as a trigger to grief issues. Reach out to friends and do not stay alone in your home.
Your friends can support you and help you to feel better during this season.
Take yourself for a walk with a friend and enjoy the cool air and nature and you will feel uplifted. Do not stay stuck in your feeling of malaise. If you help another you will also feel better. Do whatever it takes not to isolate yourself during this season.

Practice thankfulness for what is right now! Do not concentrate on what was but honor that time that you had and honor those that love you right now.

Joy’s Empowerment and Grief Practice provides books and cds on grief and loss, grief and recovery, grief and hope, relaxation, stress aids, meditation, yoga, affirmations and feng shui
