You are a multi-faceted person. There are many aspects that come together to create the person that you are today. You play and work and expend energy. You communicate with your soul and express sorrow and feel joy too. Balance is what you express when all parts of your life are in perfect sync.

You might be asking” How do I acheive balance”? There are many demands of modern life that can push you to make choices that can put you off balance. These choices have a detrimental effect on your relationships health and career. In creating a balanced lifestyle you have to decide on how much time you are going to alot to the different facets of your life. Draw an imaginary room and take portions of that room to allocate the important aspects of your living. In your drawing give a certain amount of space to relationships, and another amount to health, and another amount to work, and another amount to family, and another amount to play. You would then see where your focus has been. You might find that your room has no room for the important aspects of your life. You may discover that certain elements of your life take up an inordinate amount of time. You can also see if your life is balanced or off balance.

A balanced lifestyle is a style of living in which you have time for obligations as well as pleasures. It is a lifestyle where you find time to live in a gratifying way as well. If you choose to live a balance lifestyle it can help you to gain a greater sense of happiness health and fulfillment.

Your Cyclic Life

When you walk through the world you encounter many different people. You see the babies, teenagers,middle age people and older people. Each one is in a different stage of their lives. Each stage is temporary and gives rise to a different phase in their lives. Each stage of life has challenges and gifts. What all stages have in common is that they are temporary. Each stage is precious because it will never last.

One of the great things about babies is that they seem to have no clue about cycles of life. They are simply present to wherever and whatever they are doing right now..
They do not give any thought to the future. They are in the joy of the moment. On the opposite side of the coin are the elderly who are very aware of time and that time should be treasured.

If you are aware of the cycles of life and your place in it, it can bring you some wisdom. If you are a new mother going through challenges with your infant you can be aware that this time will pass. You will embrace the time you have with your infant right now..If you have elderly parents you will embrace the precious moments that you spend with them and want to be with them and their wisdom more often.

Difficult and challenging times are part of the life cycle. Like everything it is a phase of life that is temporary. When you are fully engaged and productive in your life, you expand and grow with each cycle of life. Fully embracing wherever you are in the cycle of life is the very essence of your happiness.

Keep Moving

There may be a day when you feel that you just want to stay at home and relax. That is a very important thing to do…However, you can relax and still move. A special mind body connection can occur when you revel in movements that are the inner
manifestations of your own body rhythms. You can articulate these movements through stretching or dance or simple yoga postures.

A feedback loop will occur when you simply exert yourself and this allows your mind and your body to communicate more freely. The result is a more relaxed and balanced you.
Remember that even if you are relaxing you can still participate in simple movement excercises that will make you feel unihibitally free and happy. Stress and tension that has lingered will melt away as you move. The connection that exists between your mental and physical self will grow stronger as you indulge in movement. My hope is that with that movement you will experience a happy fulfilling day when you stay at home and relax.
